About SSERM
In 2015, SSERM offers 23 high-level courses from 8-19 June and 4 optional courses outside the June period. In order to guarantee the best possible preparation and assure a similar level of knowledge we decided to offer 3 workshop lectures from 3-6 June.
Workshop lectures
As a special service to our participants we offer 3 new workshop lectures free of charge between 3-6 June 2015. The attendance of all 3 courses (Regression, Applied Maths / Statistics with R) is possible as they are taught in the morning, afternoon and late afternoon. Workshop lectures can be selected optionally, but only in combination with at least one regular SSERM course.
SSERM courses
SSERM is mainly structured in two modules (module I = courses in week I, 8-12 June / module II = courses in week II, 15-19 June). Participants select one course per week as these courses are taught concurrently. Main Summer School courses are awarded 4 ECTS credits if exams/homework are successfully passed. An academic transcript will be sent to your registration address.
The 4 courses outside the June period can be booked additionally or optionally.
Main SSERM courses are divided into different levels: basic, intermediate, advanced and research. Please pay careful attention to indicated levels on the course directory. Courses on research level (PEF-courses) are especially designed for PhD students in Economics with substantial background in quantitative methods.
